While on a roadtrip at 0430 in the morning form Tallahassee FL, to Ellenwood GA, I listened to the groovy sounds of Maxwell. Now I'm not a definition "music listener" I don't go with what's new ie. snap music, you're a jerk, stickin and rollin, stick drill, lean with it do the soulja boy to these nuts....I'm the type of guy that likes genuine hip-hop like Mos Def, Common, Nas, and Lupe Fiasco to name a few. I also like Techno, Trance, Classical, and Nintendo Midis, like yes, I will bump them in my 95 Maxima. However, there is something about this neo-soul that is growing on me. When I first heard Maxwell's song "Pretty Wings" I originally thought it was about him breaking up with the woman he wanted because he cared that much about her.....but that is not the case. Apparently, according to feedback on my twitter @CyrahOmega, the people say the whole song is about a woman's vagina....let's take a gander here:
