WHY JESUS WAS SO OWT - SHEOL HELL

After venturing to Atlanta for the Omega Psi Phi six chapter Oil Spill, my brothers and I traveled safely back to Tallahassee FL, and made it to church on sunday for the start of Omega Week. 12 April 2009 - 19 April 2009. We came on time and got the word and it went a little something like this...

Every Christian knows that the only way to get into heaven is through Jesus...

"NO MAN cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME."
John 14:6

The way you get to Jesus is to obey The 10 Commandments and be righteous...

“For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of HEAVEN.
Matthew 5:20

Now the question at hand is, "how did of the righteous people who followed the commandments and praised and worshipped the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob get into heaven?

The answer: They didn't.

Where did they go you ask?

They went to Hell....She'ol Hell...which simply mean "the place of the dead"

Basically if you were a Christian before Christ then you went to Sheol Hell. Tis paradise in hell was seperated by a river and was not fiery like hades. This can be proven through the story of Lazarus and the rich man.

“The rich man died, and was buried; and in Hell (Hades) he lifted up his eyes, being in torments,” Here we see that those in Hades will be tormented in body as was the rich man. Also, this was no cool place; he was “tormented in this flame”. It speaks of “his eyes”, “he saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom”. “Send Lazarus, that he may “cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame”.
Luke 16:19-31

When Jesus cried upon the Cross, "Oh, Father, why have You forsaken Me?" it was then He was separated from the Father because of the sin poured out upon Him. As He gave up His spirit, He said, "Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit." His suffering was completed in our stead. His soul/spirit went to the Paradise side of Hades "Sheol Hell". Jesus did not go to Hades. Jesus’ suffering ended the moment He died. The payment for sin was paid. He then awaited the resurrection of His body and His return to His glory in His ascension. He went down there and preached a revival to the saints and brought them with him from Sheol Hell.

The fact is, Jesus made it possible for us to be in the presence of the Lord through the Holy Spirit baptism. We become the body of Christ who is sitting at the right hand of God. As the tabernacle of God, we are in His presence in the Spirit. That includes the saints who where held in "Sheol" until the resurrection. Some of their bodies were resurrected out of the graves.

Jesus rose on the third day in the flesh, not as the spirit, as well as the righteous people, and they ascended into heaven as he did.
Luke 24:39

This all ties in to the second coming of Jesus in the book of revelations. However I will save that blog for another day. My point of bringing up the subject of how Jesus was outstanding with tenacity in regards to his Sheol Hell experience is that he was criticized, publically humiliated, and mutilated for his beliefs and very presence. He preched the word of God, roadtripped with the word, died for our sins, praye for the well being of his enemies who conspired against him, went to Sheol Hel, preached a revival, then came back to his disciples to prove his point and to show them that faith in a friend is essential, then ascended into heaven only to tell everybody to learn from his sacrifice and he will be back.....SO BE READY

JESUS WAS THE OWTEST PERSON IN LIFE!
